| | Senior Member | NCAA 09 Improvements am i the only one that has noticed that in campus legend mode on NCAA 08 that you always play day games? there is never a night game, even for the national championship. night games are sooooo much better, to me at least.
also, i hate the fact that you can't play on any special teams. as a WR/DB/RB you still aren't put back there as a return man. hell, i think it would even be fun to do a career as a kicker.
these are just a few basic improvements that need to be on 09 in my opinion. what would you guys like to see? |

| I'd like to see an innovation that made 09 drastically different than every other NCAA Football game ever made. I'm not sure what, but they need to do something to make things fresh and new. I think the series is getting a little worn out sort of like the Tony Hawk franchise. |

| To me the presentation is getting old. The National Championship game doesnt feel any different than any other game. I wish they would just totally revamp the presentation. The gameplay is great, just minor tweaks are acceptable there. |

| | VN's One and Only | despite the introduction of campus legend mode, ncaa football '08 was missing a ton of features and lacked a bunch in detail in certain aspects. there was no home field advantage, no spring game, hardly any pre or post game presentation, crappy celebrations, and dull post game emotions (if any) after a big win, or any win for that matter. this was especially true after the conference championship games and the national title games where hardly anything happened after you won. also, the sidelines really need to be worked on. besides the head coaches and players, there were no chain gangs, no media, limited coaching staffs, etc. it just seemed very baren. all of this definitely needs to be added into the game this summer, because as good as '08 was, there was alot missing.
and it would probably be asking too much but i would love to see team specific entrances for home games. (running through the t, miami runing through the smoke, clemson running down the hill touching the rock, etc.) that would almost make this game IMO.

oh, and you're right. there were no team entrances. the thing that bothers me most , though, is the absence of pre-game warm ups and post game celebrations. even ncaa football 2002 had the warmups and probably a better pre-game presentation. that says alot IMO....

| They need to take a page from the playbook of 2k sports when it comes to gameplay presentation.
Something along the lines of what UT4ME said, they need to add the Championship Subdivision teams (D1-AA) and have a type of dynasty mode like 2k has in College Hoops where you start out at a small school, or you can play a open dynasty and start out where ever you want.

| i also don't like the fact that it's very hard to move up in the rankings. if you start the season outside the top-20 you can go and beat 6 top-10 teams, go undefeated, and still not make the championship game. |
