Looks like Paramount will go Blu-Ray.

Rumor: Paramount Moving To Blu-Ray, HD-DVD Dead, Can We All Just Get On With Our Lives Now?

I'm glad I didn't waste money on the HD DVD attachment for the 360

Thing is, we will have Blu-Ray support for 360. I'm not worried about it at this point. Bill Gates has too much money not to get us support if HD-DVD dies.

I say in the next week I will have a PS3 for blu-ray, but one good thing about the 360 is the HD drive is external. So I foresee an external blu-ray drive in the future for the xbox.

Exactly. I am glad I listened to my buddy who went through the Betamax/VHS wars before I bought anything.

I have a HD drive.... I don't regret getting it, but I see it being a dust collector in the near future.

If someone is buying a BluRay player today, it's definately the way to go.

As far as gaming goes, it's a different story at this point.

I've already got a strong collection of Blu-ray movies going, glad to see I didnt pull a Betamax (which was also the superior format)
