There was a hell of a lot more wrong there than video games... the games had next to nothing to do with the incident.

nice of the media to focus on the game side rather than the fact that a teenager was drunk.

My condolences to the mother.

Blaming the videos games is a damn cop-out. These kids don't even know right from wrong it seems sometimes. I really wish that Christianity and or moral discipline were in public schools. My prayers are with the family.

So is blaming lack of a bible.

Better parenting and better teaching in our gov't schools could solve many of these issues.

I'm not saying that Christianity or religion is the best way to take care of these things, but it's a strong start. Also getting better teachers would be a good start as well. Some of the teachers I have met at my daughters school's, I have just wanted to question their loyalty to the students. Even just teaching the basic right from wrong standards would be better than what we have right now.

No one is accountable anymore of their actions. People always have to find something to blame it own, and this article is blaming it on video games.

The whole video blaming gaming is a joke! I've played games since the Atari 2600 (which I still have ), and in that time have played all the violent games along the way. The major difference was my parents! They taught me right from wrong, they were involved in my life, etc.......

In regards to teaching, that is ridiculous. Teachers know in advance what they are getting into. While they may want more money, they shouldn't give "less of a damn" because they aren't getting it.
