Anybody played this demo yet? Tried it yesterday and thought it was pretty good...comes out tomm....so I'm thinking about picking it up on the way home tomm. morning.

35 miles one way to work...my small town even has a walmart and they were my last resort..I never buy games there...selection is terrible.

I was lucky... Our local Rhino Video game store was bought out by Gamestop. They have a much better selection.

Gamestop only had 4 copies but I got one...weird its not more readily available since their pimping it with some TV commercials.

Finally had some time to play last night..put in 4 or 5 hrs and I must say this game in definitely good...got a couple of wows out of me with some of the time stopping and reversal.

Got through the first 2 acts...you have a casual, skilled, and elite campaign...I started with the elite since the achievements stack.

Weapons wise there are 9 different guns...varying from a small caliber pistol up to a rocket type launcher...each weapon also has a secondary attack which is definitely needed in the elite mode. You can carry up to 3 guns at one time and there are also a couple different types of grenades and also mines.

I have not played online yet...but it has the usual deathmatch...team deathmatch...capture the flag...etc...all customizable ofcourse.

I'd definitely recommend it...besides it not having a co-op campaign..the only other problem may be that it's a tweener game...by that I mean that its coming out just a short time between Halo 3 and COD4...with game prices some may skip....definitely download the demo at the marketplace and give it a try though...I'll try to embed a video below of some game play.

Sounds like some of the reviews I've read. They basically said had it come out 6 months ago when originally planned, it would have been better received. AT this point though, there's just too many other games and Timeshift isn't bringing all that much new.

Sounds like a good rental, especially after NC said it's a pretty good little game.

Yeah played some online today and wasn't as many people as I would have thought...really like some of the maps though...the frost has a sweet sniper tower.

I like the campaign better than Halo 3...but Halo 3's online is better.
