I don't like NCAA MM - I bought 2k7 last year after buying MM almost every year. It was a big improvement from a realistic stand point from player/arenas/etc. And you can't dunk on any given play from 8 feet out - and you can't force a turnover using the HC trap everytime they threw the ball in..

Granted it was like MM 2005 or so.. It could have improved.

I did the exact same thing last year. I bought MM02-06 and switched to CH 2K7 last year. I hated the CH 2K7 gameplay and am going back to EA this year. I decided that I would rather dunk from 8 feet out than miss 40% of my wide open layups and block shots.

I'm also really good at MM, but very average at 2K. That probably had something to do with me not liking it.

I still don't understand #8 Kentucky?!?!? If they are a #8 team we should be in the top 3.

Yeah, I did my best to give a nice UT preview for them, but they dropped the vols from #6 to #7. This is the first time that EA has actually asked input from their customers. 2K does this every year, and is much more interactive. They even have a "new uniforms" thread to make sure they get every team right.

The OperationSports forum is the only good place to talk about March Madness and 2K. I'm "whittleboy615" on there. The EA boards are weak, but the 2K ones are decent.

Agreed. I also think Arkansas is a little overrated at #14. Hat had Miss. St. winning the west in his half-court trap article. Davidson is a surprise at #21 as well. Curry is a baller and the team is a nice sleeper pick, but Butler seems to be rated higher in most pre-season publications.

Oh ya, I'm getting a 2K fan on the OS boards to make a Custom Cover template for MM08. The problem is that I don't know how to make the actual covers either, and there are few MM fans who do. Hopefully I'll be able to find a guy who can do a sweet Lofton one. Would Sabannoicho be interested in resurfacing to make one? He can do amazing things with graphics.
