If plan to use optical sound with HDMI on the $349 version, you'll need an additional 3rd party dongle for ~ $25 or the $50 MS cable with optical adapter. |

You can play it on an HDTV even with the composite connection, it just won't look nearly as good. |

| Also, if I remember correctly, the HDMI pro version has upgraded heatsinks for the GPU, so the red rings of death should be (hopefully) less prevalent.
