| My 360 is from the first batch and it just now starting to show it's age. The disc tray is hanging up 80% of the time, but the 2nd attempt always works. I will be happy with it if it last a few more months.

Returned it and the replacement is working fine. Gee, one would think MS would have this piece of equipt' to perfection. | The first release was REALLY bad. Not to say that some of those units aren't working even now... but the defect rate was insane.
My elite is working well, no problems. The only complaint I have is that it is still a little loud.
For watching videos off my computer, I'm going to continue to use my modded xbox with XBMC. The 360 just can't compete on that level... of course, I had to get a switch box to hook it all up b/c my TV only has two component connections for HD signals... |

| 3 years from date of purchase. Within one year you can take it to the store you bought it from, and they have to replace it. For the two years following, MS will send you a box, and then a refurb unit once they recieve the junker.

I predict within two or three years it will be dead. And I'm pretty positive I can't get a warranty on it |

| I've got the wireless adapter for the 360 and it works great for me, but it's around $90.

The neat part is that often you can find some of these at CompUSA or other store with rebates, etc. which bring their cost into the $20 range... much cheaper than units sold AS a bridge. |
