NCAA '08 Great Games Thread (Instant Classics)

This is a thread where you can post and describe your great games that you have played either online or in a dynasty you're in. So far i've got 2 instant classics, both online:

1. The first was against Hawaii, me being Florida St. The score went back and forth the entire game in a shootout with the score finally being knotted up at 42 all late in the 4th. I scored a touchdown to go ahead 49-42. Hawaii then drives down the field and scores with about 15 seconds left and this guy decides to for 2 and makes it. 50-49 Hawaii. He kicks it off high and I get it around my 45 yard line with :07 seconds left. I loft a pass up on the next play and its caught at around the 15 yard line. With :01 remaining, I kick the field goal, but miss it since it was at an angle. Hawaii wins 50-49.

2. The second one was one I played tonight against this guy that was ranked around 500th or so on the leaderboards. He picks North Carolina, I pick Oklahoma. By the end of the 3rd quarter he's up 21-0. However, I slowly but surely inch my way back and actually somehow manage to tie the game up at 21 late in the 4th. When he gets the ball back after I tied it, he lobs a pass up for grabs and I pick it off. I run several plays with the ground game up the North Carolina D and manage to get to their own 15 yard line But then the next play I fumble with about a minute to go. North Carolina gets the ball back and manages to get to midfield with around 20 seconds to go. The next play they get 25 yards with a pass to put them in field goal range. However, its called back for holding. So :07 to go. The Tar Heels call a Hail Mary and chucks it deep and their receiver somehow catches the prayer in the endzone for the touchdown with time expired. North Carolina 27 Oklahoma 21

Both crappy losses, but both good games.

The only one that I have is a recent game with USC. I was playing at #1 USC and I won 17-14. I got sacked 11 times.....crazy!

mine is probably the best of all time!!...

Ok, its fourth quarter about 1 minute left and i have no timeouts. The guy i was playing online was up on me 21-17 and all he had to do was run the time out because he had a first down with a minute left. But no, he got greedy and called a timeout with nine seconds left to try and score one more time, he was on my 6 yard line... so he rolled out of the pocket because i put a massive blitz on him and he tried to connect with one of his wide open recievers in the corner, but my dt hit him as he was throwing and made the ball go straight into my olb hands and he ran it back all the way from the endzone for a td with no time remaining to give me the VICTORY!

I almost lost to SMU... stopped them on the 6 yard line, kinda reminiscent of the 1999 super bowl. 17-13, UT wins. It was a 500 pointer. That's the only one so far on '08.

LOL!

Last night I was playing at Kansas State and went down 35-7 with 1:12 left in the first half.

The game was tied at 38 with 44 seconds left in the 4th when I drove the ball 80 yards for a touchdown with 6 seconds left!

Funnest game I have ever played!

just played a guy who was texas and i was west virginia. was down 21-3, but came back to beat him 38-31
