Comes out this October and will retail for 59.99.

You can even enjoy playing several of these games with two players by attaching a second NES Classic Controller, which will be sold separately at a suggested retail price of $9.99. A Classic Controller or Classic Controller Pro can also be used (each sold separately).

When connected to a Wii Remote controller, the NES Classic Controller can also be used to play Virtual Console NES games on a Wii U or Wii system. Playing these retro games using a retro controller makes the experience that much more authentic

The system comes packaged with an HDMI cable, an AC adapter and one NES Classic Controller, which is patterned after the iconic design of the original NES controller.

Will not add any additional games at any point in the future. 60 bucks is a bit steep for this IMO. You can get all the games and spend about half of that on a Pi 3

It's great if you've never experienced it or you just want a convenient way to play those classic games, but it would be better if you could download VC games to it and add to the library.

But I'm for sure getting one of those controllers.

I have 17 of these cartridges (Punchout with Tyson though) in my classroom with my old NES. It's hilarious watching the kids get their asses beat by Glass Joe.

That's $2 a game. Not all that steep

Why no Contra is what I want to know.

Needs Tetris, Ducktales, Baseball Stars, Battletoads, TMNT II, and Super Tecmo Bowl.

I probably won't buy this, but I'd buy the SNES version in a heart beat.

Really wish this had the capability to get DLC and other game packs in the future.

I think there is some kind of licensing issue with Contra. It was never put on any of Nintendo's Virtual Consoles.

Agree on Contra, Battletoads, TMNT 2, and Ducktales. Needs Kung Fu (super underrated) and River City Ransom.

I bought an NES recently and got a bunch of these games with it.

Most likely its licensing issues. Ducktales is a Disney IP. Battletoads is Microsoft/Rare.

I agree 100% on Baseball Stars. That game was fantastic for its time!

Might get this but Contra would have sold me for sure.

Was talking with some guys at work close to my age 39, and we got into coming up with all the cheat codes. I still remember contra and punchout...they are almost the same..yall remember codes to any of the other games on the list? Metroid was justin bailey..just remembered that lol...guess you couldnt hook a game genie up to the new console. Some of the old games were insanely hard...i dont mean time consuming like zelda..i mean "you get 3 lives and 3 continues, and there are 37 levels to this game" hard.
