Horizon: Zero Dawn and God of War 4. Days Gone looks really good but I don't care for zombies.

I think Spider-Man is my pick for runner up. I didn't realize it until I saw an interview yesterday from the guys at Insomniac but that trailer is ALL in-game/in-engine. It looks fantastic and with Insomniac's pedigree I have no doubt the game will play great!

Well, I forgot Insomniac did Sunset Overdrive so I am in on Spider-Man. Loved Sunset Overdrive.

You should pick up Ratchet and Clank on PS4 kwebb. That game is great too! Also, the Resistance Trilogy Insomniac made on PS3 is very good too. A criminally underrated series, especially part 3! I hope one day Insomniac makes another one.

Thanks, been meaning to grab Ratchet and Clank. That will be my next pick up.


Been reading more on Days Gone (twitter from the developer)....

Oh man I love the Resistance series. I had all 3 games on the PS3 and both the PSP game and the Vita game. Resistance especially is a very underrated PSP game.

It's too bad it came out the same time as Gears of War and was so overshadowed. I really wish they'd make R4 or reboot it, but unless another company buys the rights, it's probably never going to happen.

Just got around to watching the God of War trailer and damn it looks amazing

It needed a reboot. The tried and true formula was getting stale with the fixed camera angle and linear path. Plus this version seems more grounded. Like perhaps this is going to have a good narrative and character development. I like the slower pace. I like the fact that Kratos isn't just arbitrarily angry all the time. I'm also interested to learn more about the dynamic between him and his son. Oh and of course it looks absolutely gorgeous.

You should've seen it live at the E3 press conference with the orchestra playing the soundtrack when the game was playing. It was epic as hell! Sony should have a live orchestra at every damn one of their E3 conferences from here on out.
