Amazon is building its first PC game - Business Insider

Will be interesting to see how this plays out; AMZ has deeper pockets than any of the big 3...could be a game changer (pun intended)

Yep. You're probably right. They do make a great eReader though.

Definitely. No one holds a candle to them in regards to the Kindle Paperwhite and their library.

I'm not sure I would compare the cellphone market with the gaming market; ease of entry is much lower in gaming and the customer base and buying habits are completely different from mobile telecom.

All they would need to do is put out something that isn't putrid and market the hell out of it to gain a foothold. With their bankroll and the dream team of devs they've assembled - I give them a high chance to succeed.

As far as innovation goes, AMZ is quickly catching up to the likes of Apple and Google; for example, they are building an army of drones to deliver sh$$ you order on the same day!:rock:
