Super Nintendo

Does anyone know where would be a good place to try and find one of these? I think this was my favorite video game system. I loved the Mario games and the Donkey Kong games for it. Any info would be appreciated.

eBay, locally run video game stores or Game Crazy locations. Basically anywhere aside from Electronics Boutique-affiliated stores.

Used xbox + mod = CLASSIC CONSOLE FUN!

Gradius III is the SHIZ btw. Chrono Trigger may well be the greatest RPG ever, and there is always the Zelda for SNES, "A Link to the Past".

Remus, you have to tell me how to do this. I have a modded xbox but have no clue how to play old console games. Not like I haven't worn you out already on the video thing.

Do you run XBMC? I have a DVD with 4 different emulators, SEGA, NES, SNES, and N64... plus about 850 roms for each of the first three systems, I'd say 20-25 games for N64.

I use the file browser of XBMC to browse the DVD drive... each emulator is in its own directory, I select whichever one I want to play and run the default.xbe in that directory... select the game and off I go.

I actually copied the SNES emulator and the ROMS I like best to the hard drive so I don't have to put the disc in every time. It rocks.

Check Craigslist.com - too. I found one on there for $30.

That's pretty cool, I've never heard of a modded X-box that could play all the old systems!

If you've got a PC, you can always just download and emulator for each system, along with all the roms you want- play all the oldies on your PC!

The emulators can be found on many websites- the roms are tougher to find and require that you have a File-sharing program, like mIRC, bearshare, etc.

You do understand that the xbox is just a funny looking PC. The emulators are the same, except these were built with the XDK so they could run on the xbox.

Yes, of course. Just offering an alternative to those that don't have an X-box
