| | Agent Orange | It should be noted that 343 Studios is comprised of a lot of Bungie employees mostly those that are heavily invested (no surprise there) in the Halo franchise. The most notable is Frank O' Connor who was the lead intellectual and development manager from Halo 1 on. |

| "Assault on the Control Room" is one of my favorite game levels ever.
I've always been a fan of the series, though. |

now as far as what 343 plans on doing w/ halo 4 (story or gameplay wise) no clues so far
....other than it looks like after halo 3 (where the half a ship was heading) and chief appeared to use something to get across the ship horizontally (a jetpack perhaps?) | So he had a jetpack throughout Halo 3 and didn't feel the need to use it? Awesome... |

Halo is in good hands. I can't wait to see where this game is headed! |

| I can't say I'm really excited for this. Halo 2 was awesome and since then I've been pretty "meh" about the series. Halo 3 was ok but it was disappointing the way they ended it....or didn't end it rather. The 3 spin-off titles didn't do a lot for me anyway. I didn't even play much of Halo Wars since I'm not big into RTS games. Halo 3: ODST was a joke; it should have been DLC added to H3. And Reach was better than ODST but still wasn't all that great.

| Halo 4 Rebuilding Master Chief in Halo 4 - Xbox 360 Preview at IGN
I didn't want to like it but I may have to pick it up when it launches and see what it's about. Multiplayer is what matters to me in a halo game so we'll see if this one stacks up with the others.... |

IMO Halo 2 is the best online shooter ever, and the last big shooter where skill was everything. Before the days of trying to appeal to casual gamers by dumbing it down with stupid stuff like bubble shields, armor lock and jetpacks, there was Halo 2. If you should consistently 4-shot people with the BR and snipe relatively well, then you could be pretty good at this game, if not, you were screwed. That's not to say the most skilled players didn't also rise to the top in subsequent Halo games, just that there wasn't as much noobish stuff on the map to help the crappy players. |
