What Do You Mute, Avoid or Report For?

A question for online gamers: What kind of stuff sets you off and causes you to either mute another player, submit a gamer review (aka "avoid player") or place a formal complaint against someone else? How lenient or strict are you about other players' online conduct? Which games do you think produce the worst players?

Mute: Often. I will mute almost any white noise or offensive chatter that does not pertain to gameplay, especially music. I'd say I mute at least 2 people per lobby in MW3 and at least that many in every FIFA match.

Avoid: Occasionally. Happens a lot in sports games, mostly for poor sportsmanship (poor or overly aggressive play, scoring own goals on purpose) or very offensive language. Anyone who purposely tries ruin a game, I will submit a player review against.

Report: Rarely. I think I've only reported 2 people ever and they both had very racially offensive gamertags.

Worst game: FIFA 12
Best game: Battlefield 3

All I really play online is BF3. I haven't ran into too many annoying little kids in that game yet.

I mute everyone, unless I'm in a group. Don't report or avoid

I don't see how you don't expect this stuff to happen. Hate to say it like it is, but get over it dude. Think about most of the people that game religiously. You can pretty much put them into 2 categories: Idiots, and Idiot Kids. I'd say that makes up ~80% of the gamer population. It's not a place for you and I, but since gaming is super fun, I say just get over it. Also, they won't be offensive if you beat them in whatever game you're playing haha.

Happy Spring Equinox!

-Mute: anyone who is not in my party

-Report: anyone who is clearly cheating. Language (cussing, f@g, w/e), gamertags/IDs, emblems are not really offensive to me

-Avoid: anyone who I've seen cheating before

Not complaining exactly. I understand that it is what it is, just wanted others' opinions. Gaming IS fun, especially online, so I'll put up with a lot. Thought I would see how everyone else deals with this nonsense.

I dont mute or report anyone. I prefer to handle it the way any person behind a computer/xbox would handle it and curse them til I was blue in the face

Gotcha. Sorry, I realize now that my post seemed a bit brash. In all honesty, it doesn't bother me too much. I'm a vulgar person myself, so I cuss a lot, but I'm never disrespectful to the other players.

Yeah, I don't expect anything from anyone, I just try to make the experience better for myself. That's why I rarely report anyone. Basically just the ignorant racists that should be glad that all I can do is tattle to Microsoft.
