| Assassin's Creed: Revelations Anyone picked it up yet? I'll be picking it up after Christmas, but wanted to know others' opinions on it. I became [mildly, ok really] addicted to the multiplayer games on Brotherhood, and have played the Beta version of the multiplayer for Revelations.
Just want some comparisons/opinions. TIA

| Rented it. Same as Brotherhood basically. Ready to move on from Ezio and onto a different time period. |

| Well, I mean they did move on to a different character and slightly different time period, but I've been hearing rumors that there would be one set in an entirely different time period. |

| I played the first one. I thought it had potential, but got extremely bored after a few hours. They just keep coming out with new ones, has this thing improved any? |

More varIed combat, better gameplay and freeroam, better cities, etc. Not nearly as repetitive either. |

...I wonder more when the timeline actually will catch up with that of the main story; you'd think it'd eventually have to |

I also heard that a rumor is going around that the new AC will be set in Ancient Egypt. Leap of faith off the Sphinx will be pretty cool. |

| The first one was okay, the 2nd one blew me away. That is the game that got the series going. Brotherhood was very good. |

| I agree with that. The detail they put in to the stuff in Rome was spot on. I had just got back from a trip there and played Brotherhood and was just amazed at how everything was in the correct spot and looked so great compared to the real thing. Definitely my favorite one but I love the whole series as a whole to this point. |

| I loved Brotherhood. Revelations SP is a lot better than it though IMO. Multiplayer is worse. They added too many annoying perks and abilities. I could play for hours on end online on Brotherhood, but I'm lucky if I last 3 matches in Revelations. |

| I love these games. The first one was repetitive but it still amazed me, and I agree that 2 is the best. Brotherhood is good but it felt like more of an expansion of 2 than a true sequel. I just got Revelations and I'm starting it sometime today.
I think the last one is going to fully take place in the modern time, and the latest rumor I read is it will deal with the whole 2012 end of the world stuff.
