Football Sad NCAA Football 10 Moment - UT Bowl Game

I started a dynasty with MTSU.

I noticed Tennessee lost the Outback Bowl to TOSU 20-17. I checked the Summary and read that TOSU's LB, Sabino, had a 1-yard fumble return for a TD with 1 second left. I web-searched Sabino to see which side of the ball he plays on. Good grief. Imagine losing like that.

that's why most teams take knees at the end rather than keep running the ball

though in this case, they more likely would have run a qb sneak or two (w/ a big line push) to get some safe yards before taking the knee

I take it you're referring to 2008's "two most inept offenses ever on the same field" game?

(Crompton, not Ainge)

Well, in the following season, 2010, Matt Simms won the Heisman and O'Brien for Tennessee. IDK how Simms is even on the roster. The file I downloaded must have created him. He threw for 32 TD, ran for another TD, and had only 4 INT. I'll take that in real life for sure. Vols went 10-2 and are somehow #2 in the BCS despite not winning the East. BCS title game is a rematch with TOSU.

Tennessee beat TOSU 19-16 on a 22-yard FG by Lincoln with :45 left after a FG by TOSU at 2:31. How's that for a simulation?

FWIW, I won the New Orleans Bowl and took the Ole Miss offer over Missouri or another three years in the Sun Belt.
