And exactly; it was microsoft throwing the Halo name on and selling it for more than it was probably worth b/c they knew the fans would flock and buy it

the beta was awesome, i love the loadout, and the special powers that goes with it. I was playing last nite, ctf. The guy had the flag and was runnin, i landed behind him and broke his neck and flew off, it was freakin awesome

Exactly, it was an expansion, overpriced and advertised like its own game because Microsoft knew that it would sell well enough on its own (w/ the Halo name) that they could charge more than it was really worth

I hate the standard loadout. How they were able to make the AR even more worthless is beyond me, but they did it. Now you get to bypass spraying someone with the AR while leading up to a one hit melee kill. It doesn't matter if you spray them, drop their shields and go in for the melee, it still a two hit melee for a kill. Honestly, what's the point? Spawn me with the DMR and we can all move on. Otherwise we are looking at another grenade/melee fest. It honestly feels like I'm playing damn Gears of War 2.

There you go.

Oh, and Covy Slayer is pretty fun.
