Then, before it goes to the screen to pick the user, it starts to download the automatic window update. The problem is, it automatically starts on update 3 of 3 and won't get past 22% completion. I have done everything imaginable to get off that screen, but it is stuck. The only thing to do is to shut it down. Any idea what to do to fix this? Try to dumb it down as much as possible. Back in the day, it seemed that they would accept anyone and let 'em drink beer at the Roman Room for a quarter before sending them home. Now it seems that the bar for acceptance has been raised quite a bit.

I really was not sweating her acceptance because she is a good student, scored well on her ACT, etc. but I find I'm pretty pumped up about it. I believe that the University will afford her the opportunity for a great education and a deeper understanding of how great it is to be a Tennessee Vol.

I've lived in TN all of my life, being raised 45 minutes north of Knoxville. I'm considering the other two places for graduate school purposes.

I've checked various resources on both, and I've been to Athens once (2006 UT/UGA game, hell yeah). I'm more or less wanting some input from people who have visited these places/lived in them. I have a scheduled visit to UGA in December, and I'm going to follow up with one at LSU in Jan.

Both programs interest me on the same level, so I'm trying to include some other data about the surroundings, costs, etc. Anything would be helpful.
