Someone told me about a bar called “Sherrys” near where I live. I was told I’d like it but I’d never heard of it so I thought I’d give it a chance. I was told it was a cross between a local hang out and a sports type bar.

Well I walk in and it’s packed full of guys I don’t know, and no girls. No biggie I’m not a small guy but I’m a bit un-comfortable. I’m scanning the seating area not paying any attention to the décor when I notice a lot of Harley type stuff around, so I’m start feeling, this is ok I can hang with it. My type of crowd.

We make it to the bar where there are two seats and we sit down I cast a glance over the grow to see who’s around me and up in the air is a sting of banners for the Vols. My eyes light up and I quickly start looking at the walls and low and behold Vols support stuff everywhere. I stood up and notice and clock behind the bar an saw a big power T in it. I put my arms in the air and said “I’m home!” the girl I was with looked at me kind of funny and said I guess you like this place? I just laughed.

Before, if I wanted to go watch a game with friends we would go to the local buffalo wild wings to watch, it’s a FL bar. Ugh! Now I have a place I can go and watch games in Winston-Salem. AWESOME!!!
