It feels pretty lame, especially if you've been to Vegas. The smoke would choke a duck, but they've got one room in the back that's smoke free.

What really bothers me is seeing (I'm gonna sound awful when I say this but I'm really a nice person) all the poor, elderly, disabled, and otherwise disadvantaged people in there trying to win money.

My husband and I have been a few times, and enjoy the drive more than anything else.

I will be there next Wednesday night. It is too late to tell my parents I don't think I want to go there. They have probably already reserved the rooms. Oh well, I guess I will just have to grin and bear it. There's always video poker, I guess.

play the blackjack tables if you want a fair chance of winning. its not live cards, but you stand a better chance for sure.

Harrah's is the only one I know of. I've not been in over a year though.

Don't know if they still do but they use to hav e a couple of video craps tables that were big enough for about 6 people to play at same time. You might check those out. They are about the only thing remotely entertaining there, but I don't care for blackjack or slots and poker is more fun with real people.

I've been three times. Nothing special, although I do appreciate the no-smoking section.

My first trip there they didn't have the no-smoking section, and there were 100 chain smoking blue hairs in there.

My wife and I took $500 and played Double Diamonds. There was an entire row of empty machine. We sat down at two of them. An hour later, we were sans $500. However, a blue hair sat down beside my wife, smoking about 7 cigarettes at once. She cashed out for almost $10k. I still hate her to this day.

I've successfully talked my parents out of going. told them I didn't think I would have any fun without live cards.
