| Sears is doomed. I agree that Starbucks is on life support as well. I wonder what will happen to Walgreens, CVS etc if Obama's socialized medicine happens like he wants.

| I think Starbucks grew too big and too fast for their own good.

| Lawrence Marshal Cheverolet in Hempstead Texas announced they are closing their doors effective today. They employ over 200 residents of the town and are one of the leading greater Houston area auto dealers. It is huge news considering that their spokeperson and CEO is former Aggie and Houston Oiler Ray Childress, and you cant listen to radio for more ethan 2 seconds without hearing him advertise.

| You do realize these companies didn't "fall" due to the recession right? They were horrible companies who couldn't sustain losses any longer. The recession just gave them that last little shove off the cliff. |

| The sears/k-mart merger was an odd one from the get go. It was suspected they were doomed from the second they merged.
Also starbuck's will be fine. Just cut back stores, cut back employee benefits a bit if they don't want to cut back entire stores and they will see losses slow down. Maybe get a dollar menu? lawl. |
