OT: Ryobi Leaf Blower problems...

I have a Ryobi Backpack Blower-- it starts perfectly but when I pull the throttle and give it some gas, it will die as if the engine isn't getting enough of something.

I've only used it once before, and that one time I got it to run a while, but it never got up to a full throttle.

I read somewhere that if you "turn the jet a quarter turn" it would fix it-- what is a jet where do you think it'd be located?

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Sounds like bad gas. Make sure you mix the right amounts 50 to 1. If the mix is old, pour it out and mix some fresh. If that doesn't work, get another spark plug. Its one of the two, unless you have gas pouring out the side of your carburator.

Has to be a carb issue. Either your choke is closed or the carb needs adjustment. The jet is in the carb. Or you may have a leak in the fuel system itself. Mine has a leak in the little primer bulb so it does goofy things.
