She chewed the wire down to the sensor itself. The wire goes into the sensor with some kind of hard epoxy coating. It is not spliceable.

I was able to splice it myself when the boxer did the same thing last year. She left me a little more wire to play with.

I've got to come up with something to keep my dogs away from my pool equipment. Probably some kind of fencing.

Bitter apple!

Better yet fill a pop can with tiny rocks and attach it by string to the area you do not want them around.

Dogs cannot stand the sound of rocks in a can.

Yes I am being serious!

We use marbles in a can inside to get their attention, but they have gotten use to it, and/or are not afraid of it like before. So now we use a spray bottle with lemon water. When they start roughousing inside, they are the proverbial bull in the china shop.

That might be true but, maintenance costs are minimal.

I love the big fat tubs. I saw a jet tub at Home Depot made for two, it was like a figure 8 shape, very hot!

Gotta question, if you had the part, would you be able to replace it yourself? I can't see a flow sensor costing that much.

I know me, if I'm able to get my hands on it, I'm trying to fix it.

I could do it myself, but I am working a lot of hours lately and there are times I am willing to pay someone to do tasks like this. I finally gave up on trying to fix and maintain every thing myself.

My pool guy (case in point) says that he will get the part for me at wholesale and replace it for me.
