And it took him about three months to complete... It should have been done in 6 weeks.

Two things, the first being, the guy that did it was the step father of a buddy so it took longer and he kind of tried to half a a few things, for example the cover and the auto cleaner.

The second thing, my son swims every single day and he has his little friends over all the time and i would pay pretty much anything to keep my kids entertained, plus i get to have my mommy friends over and we break out the margaritas, it's been a very good thing for us. But be prepared, when you tell people you are putting one in everyone will say things like "we just walk to our community pool, it's like all the fun with none of the work" or "i have friends that never ever use their pools, it's a big waste of $$$" people can be so stupid.

For everyone that's putting all those chemicals in their pool , you need to check into FLOATRON . Our pool is the same as Niss'es 18 by 36 and we might use 1 tablet of chlorine in a week. We only use shock after a rain and that's because of a 75 year old oak tree 15' from the pool . Every time it rains it causes the sap , dust , and anything else on the tree to go in the pool . I used to hate it because of the of cleaning , but now I love it.

I dont know exactly how it works but it's solar powered and sends a small electrical shock into the water killing everything in its path It costs about $300.00 but isn't advertised much . If it were , the sale of chemicals would drop drastictly. ( and the pool stores profits )

If my yard was big enough, I'd be putting one in.

When's the pool party Nissniss?

Looks like the VN must be doing pretty good

Who'd have thought my thoughtful insights would pay for a pool for Freak

My house came with an in-ground concrete pool, and it's going to be the death of me. That is if I cannot get it filled in first Have problems with leaks, and it needs constant repairs. To me it isn't worth the trouble, give me a hot tub any day.
