Fellow citizens & compatriots—

I am besieged, by a dozen or more of the Mods under Freak—I have sustained a continual thread deletion & 3-day ban for nearly 6 months & have not lost a man—

The enemy has demanded a surrender at discretion, otherwise, the threads are to be put to the sword, if the Zone is taken—I have answered the demand with a new thread, & our stars still wave proudly from underneath our usernames—I shall never surrender or retreat.


Then, I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & every thing dear to the Zoner character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch—The enemy is receiving new users daily & will no doubt increase to three or four thousand by the time football season begins.

If this call is neglected, I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & die like a poster who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his Message Board—

If I am ignored further in my plight, I've elected to draft a Declaration of Sovereignty that disposes of the tyrannical oppression of our overseer's post haste. A document sirs, that declares once and for all that all posters are created equal and that civil liberties that have been long since abandoned will no longer be tolerated. We must demand equal representation on the main board and without that unjust oppression, we're left with no choice but to declare our Zone an Independent Forum.

First Draft:

Be it as it may, on this day 10th of July in the year of our Lord and God 2012, we the people of the Zone beseech our overseers on the matter of Equal Representation and all recognition that most gentlemen posters on these message boards are entitled.

We hold in highest honors, the value of good posts and threads and have for some time. Evidence may be shown in our continual participation of those forums described as, but not limited to Tennessee "New Vol" threads. Upon our lengthy tenure, the matter in which we hold a grievance against has risen to the highest of priorities that no man, woman or child should ignore.

Upon a division in opinion, an unjust act of oppression has occurred causing the civil liberties of any long standing and forthright poster that frequents the "Off Topic Threads" to be abandoned. This tyrannical act has ignited a mass that had remained silent for quite some time. The action of few, has not gone ignored.

Upon this matter, many difference in philosophy and coordination with both parties envolved have also been neglected. In no manner was the banishment of these threads discussed with the delegates from each separate forum. Gentlemen are to be gentlemen and general council with the parties individually were not sought for open discussion.

We find these acts as a betrayal to many who are held in esteemed regard to those seeking further independence in their day to day lives. Be it a joke thread, funny picture thread, or the grossly oppressed and neglected TLPTPW thread. All of which offer each individual an opportunity to escape from discussions of a more serious nature.

This sirs, simply can not stand any longer, therefore, upon making you aware of our disdain for this act, we, members of the End Zone, and all free men of good conscience hereby declare the End Zone and independent forum. A forum to be moderated by our own accord and justly provisioned with equal representation on the main page of said message board.

As we are further neglected, the recognition of updated threads on the main page will continue to be sustained by those who lack the honor and intellect that this proud Nation has been established on. For that sirs, we are deeply regretful, however, by not allowing equal rights, we move that this is in the best interests to ourselves and our countrymen.
