The Great Knoxville Mulch Fire!

Can't believe there is not already a thread about this.

The smoke has closed streets and downtown smells like a big barbecue. Pretty unreal. I thought Rohm-Haas was smelly, but it completely drowns that out, imo...

It's insane how hot it can get inside a mulch pile. Especially one that big.

I just read Thresher's post in the Carpenter Bees thread about smoking out the bees eating his deck. I think we have our culprit!

Just that they are usually casued by spontaneous combustion. And are almost never, ever, ever the result of arson.
