That is something I hated when I went shooting. One gun didn't have a long enough grip, it was uncomfortable.
I thought maybe you had osteoporosis.

My brother is the knife freak of the family. He has a few Case knives in his collection that my Dad owned. Probably 70+ years old or so.

I've had quite a few knives passed down to me, some good pocket knives. My generation just doesn't carry them anymore.

When you get ready to purchase, buy it only if it feels right in your hand. You won't be happy with it otherwise. I have a lot of different sizes and it's OK for me....now. The best fits for me are on the size of my S&W 5906 or the 1911. Larger frame and longer, fatter grip. The people I told you about in Kingston will make sure the fit is right for you. If you know any women looking to buy, they will definitely make sure the fit is right for them. The guy's wife is part owner and a shooter, too.

Not true, even the women-folk carry them in Jamestown

I'm definitely going to go give the place in Kingston a look. My first one is either going to be the 1911, an HK or the p229.

If you shoot a 229, I think you'll be sold. They are expensive, though. I think it's a good all around piece. Nice weight, nice size, nice fit and is dead on accurate out of the box.

I've saved up quite a bit, though.

Yeah, the 229. I don't guess it's a big deal, it's just the look I like.

I carry a folding pocket knife from gerber that was packaged with a multitool. I have no idea where the multitool ended up, but the knife has been solid.
