I get asked questions sometimes. Mostly having to do with USC and why I like Nike so much. So, here you go.

Q: Why do you root for USC in football?

A: When I was 12 or 13(2002-2003), I started to take a liking to the USC football program. Carson Palmer was my favorite non-UT football player at the time, and I started to root for them. This love for SC football intensified and was solidified when Reggie Bush set foot on USC's campus. Have rooted for USC, and watch SC games all the time.

Q: UNC basketball, for real? Are you some kind of bandwaggoner?

A: Possibly. But no, at least not in this case. Started rooting for UNC basketball before I watched and rooted for UT football. Still have almost as much UNC stuff as I do Tennessee stuff.

Q: KingNick sounds a bit pretentious. Why that name?

A: Just liked the way it sounded. Nothing really more.

Q: Why are you such a Nike whore? Everytime I go in a thread about uniforms, you tout Nike like crazy.

A: Bad experiences with Adidas, and although I generally prefer Under Armour's football products, they cost way too much now. That's part of the reason. Another is that I've not ever had a bad experience with a Nike product; they make stuff that fits well, and is comfortable to wear.

Q: Since you root for both UNC and USC, are you a Tennessee fan?

A: Yes. Always will be my first college team in everything.

Q: Why do you not care about women's basketball?

A: You ever watched it? It's boring as hell to watch, and I'd rather have my eyeballs Brazilian waxed.

Q: Did you really almost go to Alabama?

A: Yep. Was accepted there in June of 2010, but decided not to go due to cost.

Q: Why do you not like Peyton Manning?

A: It's no fault of his own, really. I just can't stand the slobber session that goes on over him every year, just to watch his team lose in the divisional playoffs every year.

Q: Do you think that Midfielder is a frat douche?

A: Yes. Would not be surprised to find out he has a multitude of pink shirts with the collars popped out.

Question:KingNick, How do you feel like about Tennessee basketball players wearing headbands? Do you like when the T is on the front of the headband, or fashionably angled towards the side? Also, should it be mandatory to change to a new headband at halftime? TIA

Depends on the definition of the "bandwagon". If by bandwagon, you mean started rooting for USC because they were winning, I suppose that would apply.

If by bandwagon, you mean started rooting for them when they were winning and jumped off once the first sign of trouble popped up, no, not at all.

Towards the side.
No, I feel that a new headband would somehow throw the players balance off, and thus, dilute their play.

A: It's a sort of inverse of my real-life nickname, "little dick."

A: I'm following my mother's occupational path the best i can, given my physical shortcomings.

A: Only when they're winning.

A: Because that would blow my cover of possessing just a single x and y chromosome, instead of the genotypic carnival of a sex chromosome pair i actually possess.

Q: Did you really almost go to alabama?

A: Yep. They had just won a championship, so i had gotten all buttery over the thought of vicariously feeling like any sort of "winner," by association.

Q: Why do you not like peyton manning?

A: Because i'd rather continue playing the "outsider douche bag" role and pretend like i'm not a total front runner. It's the only thing that defines my personality.

Q: Do you think that midfielder is a frat douche?

A: Yes. A douche i'd like to insert and use on myself repeatedly.
