Just scored 39 vs San Diego State in round one. Pretty impressive. Tyndall was working him good and appeared to be in line to get him until.....

I remember he officially visited that very weekend Tyndall bit it. Awkward.

Tournament has several Donnie T recruits in it. Gray, Romello White at arizona St and Clarke at Va Tech. Unfortunately for them, all are out now except Gray.

Trash Donnie T for his ethics but the ole boy could find players.

Cofer was a cuonzo recruit and he's still alive at FSU. The rest of Martins last class was pretty much a bust.

Rob Gray would have been a good one for us. I believe Schofield was a Tyndall commit too. Glad Barnes didn't cut ties

Martin would have had Jaylen Brown. He was one and done but was headed here before Martin left.

The dude was a lock. Even had dinner with the coach's family the night before. The other lock was Brandon Key, the 5 star from Nashville, whose best friend was a walk on at Tennessee who became an All SEC freshman at Alabama.
"From Howard College, he committed to Tennessee — but then-coach Donnie Tyndall was fired while Gray was in Knoxville on an official visit."
2018 NCAA tournament: Houston's Rob Gray, basketball's Baker Mayfield

The only thing Donnie T had locked up was a lifetime subscription to The Donut of the Month Club.

TN is lucky and dodged a bullet when the NCAA caught up to Donnie and took him out before he could put TN in the running for the death penalty.
