The happiest person after last nights Bama victory was kicker Pappanastos. His life expectancy in Alabama would have been calculated in days if the Dawgs had not choked away the NC by giving up a long pass to end the game ( they seem to have a propensity for this). Just as their NFL cousins let a 28-3 lead evaporate in the Super Bowl, they blew 13 point leads TWICE. Choosing between Bama and the Dawgs is like trying to decide which Menendez brother is more likeable, but the Georgia fans I know have been intolerable since the Rose Bowl. In 5 years, few people will even remember who played Bama in this game. As Dan Jenkins like to say " the YMCA is full of them that come second ".
