Looks like Kiffin is going to stay put at FAU another year. Maybe he's hoping USC will open up again. I kid. I kid. But I'm pleased actually. I dont think its a good look to stay at a school only one year, which he has done in the past iirc. I look for a move next year though, assuming he holds things together.

Existing players almost always want an internal hire. When BYU fired Crowton the AD interviewed Kyle Whittingham. Some of my friends on the team protested at the AD's office and demanded Bronco Mendenhall. That's who they got and he was a fine coach, but he's no MF'ing Kyle Whittingham.

I guess Lane looks like what's behind door number 1 next year. Gonna be sorta nuts reading about various fanbases screaming for him to come. Only place I could see him landing that might hurt us is UNC, just for recruiting.

College kids currently on the team don't know what's best for the long-term future of the program? Naww, you don't say.

Of course, a lot of ADs out there don't seem to know what is best for the long-term future of their programs either.
