Idk. Lots of stuff has changed over the years. Pregame is way different, too. There’s a recording from 1996 on YouTube and it is completely different. Circle Drill was changed again this year, too.

pregame has changed slightly over the years. There are the basics: come out in a block, block up and down the field, alma mater march, play opposing fight song, form the UT playing Rocky Top, making/opening the T. Then there are a few variables. The power T (relatively new), coming on the field and immediately playing National Anthem (back in the day the block marched up then down the field then the NA), Sousa march, forming the letter USA.

the changes are so slight that only band nerds like us see it.
