It's not as if we (Texas A&M) haven't messed up hires before. Dennis Franchione (77-0 loss against OU), Mike Sherman, Kevin Sumlin (59-0 against Bama). Our last AD sucked; the AD we have now seems markedly better (came from Washington - Hired Petersen while at WU).

But, not like we've had it together. Our football team has always been known as the "sleeping giant" in Texas.. we have more students, nicer stadium, and just as much money as texas, yet we get horrid results.

It's funny how Texas A&M and Tennesee's football histories mirror each other the past 20 years.... ya'll won the NC in '98, we were in the Sugar Bowl.. ya'll got rid of Fullmer, we got rid of Slocum, we met in the 2005 Cotton Bowl, we both have fired coaches this year.
