Brothers Camion Patrick and Isaiah Wright arrested in connection to Tennessee murder

Figured this belonged here since Camion was slated to play RB for IU year, but received a medical scholarship due to (reoccuring) injuries. Isaiah Wright from Last Chance U was enrolled at West Georgia and went through spring practice, but he is no longer enrolled there either.

In case yall forgot, we recruited Camion Patrick quite heavily - he was committed to us one point - but as you can see it didnt work out due to grades (went JUCO) then he enrolled at IU.

Two East Tennessee brothers whose football prowess made headlines and sent one to Indiana University have been connected to a fatal stabbing in Alcoa, Tenn..

Officers with the Indiana University Police Department at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday booked Camion Patrick, 22, into the Monroe County correctional complex. An officer at the jail said Patrick was being held on a homicide charge issued out of Blount County.

Patrick's younger brother, Isaiah Wright, was arrested Wednesday in Kingston. He was being held in the Roane County Jail on an unspecified court order.

Both have been connected to the July 25 death of Caleb Thomas Radford, 18, of Maryville, Tenn.. Radford was found about 10:42 p.m. on Topside Road at Buck Drive. He had been stabbed multiple times.

It was unclear Wednesday the specific charge each brother is facing in connection with Radford's slaying.

The Alcoa Police Department on Aug. 3 announced two men were charged with criminal homicide in connection with Radford's slaying. Police Chief David Carswell said Keshawn Lonnell Hopewell, 21, of Alcoa, and Itiq Tivone Green, 28, of Louisville were being held on $1 million bond each.

Carswell then said, "the men responsible for Radford's death are now in custody." There was no mention of others sought in Radford's death.

Alcoa police Sgt. Kris Sanders on Wednesday declined to say anything about the arrests of Patrick and Wright. He said a news release would be issued Thursday.
