Your Tourney Thoughts?

My thoughts on the NCAA Tourney:

First off for my other team the Boilers. Tough draw in my opinion, I was kinda surprised to still get a #4 seed but I think Michigan winning the B1G Tourney helped us stay at #4 instead of dropping to a 5 seed. Vermont is a dangerous team having won 21 straight currently, a win puts us in a likely 2nd round game against a very good and hot Iowa State team. I wanna say we make a run to get to KU but if we survive the first round I have a bad feeling that we'll make yet another 2nd round departure.

Best 1st Round Games:

Vandy vs Northwestern
Possible Kansas State vs Cincinnati matchup
Arkansas vs Seton Hall

Best Path for a Team:

Duke

Hardest Path for #1 Seed:

UNC

Possible Cinderellas:

Middle Tennessee State

SMU (Maybe not technically a Cinderella, but if they knock off Duke...)

Biggest Tourney snub:

Seeding of Wichita State. 10? Seriously?

Biggest Tourney Duds:

UCLA (Lack of D scares me)
Oregon (Loss of tough veteran at bad time, touch potential match-up with Rhode Island)

Wichita st. Vs UD is one of the best round one matchups I've ever seen. Talk about a tough game.

Cincinatti is one of the toughest, hard nosed teams in the country, but they have been beat black and blue already. I'm worried they just don't have enough gas to keep it up.


sidenote: if you missed the cincinnatti VS uconn the other night. you need to go watch it. Talk about a brawl.
