The official public “watch” party for the nationally-broadcast NCAA Tournament Selection Show on CBS will begin at 5 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the Millennium Centre, located adjacent to the ETSU campus and behind the Carnegie Hotel. On Friday, the schedule for the event was released, which includes:

4:30 p.m. -- Doors Open

4:45 p.m. -- Team Arrival

5 -- ETSU Pre-Selection Show Begins

5:05 -- Band and cheerleader performances

5:10 -- Tournament sights and sounds video

5:15 -- Message from head coach Steve Forbes

5:20 -- Message from AD Dr. Richard Sander

5:25 -- Championship video

The CBS selection show begins at 5:30 and brackets will be released throughout the following hour and a half. Plans are for CBS to cut-in live during the broadcast to show the Buccaneers’ reaction to the news.

I wonder if there will be another bracket leak like there was last year? That really crapped all over the CBS telecast. They just drew a 3.7 rating for the selection show last year which was the lowest in 20 years.

Seems like overkill for a 15 seed and first round exit. JMO

Most of the brackets have them as a 13 seed playing a 4. Different brackets have Purdue, Notre Dame, Florida, Florida State, Butler, West Virginia, etc. as an opponent but all of them have them as a 13 seed, one even had them a 12. They were a 16 seed when they lost to #1 Oklahoma 72-71 in 1989 and a 14 seed when they beat #3 Arizona 87-80 in 1992. They lost to the Fab 5 of Michigan in the second round 102-90 who went on to win the title.

Once again you are wrong. The Fab 5 never won a title.

Are you really using results from almost 30 years ago to prove your point? Lol you're a freaking joke

Apparently he has yet to figure google out

Despite their talent, they never won a single championship, be it the Big Ten Regular Season Championship, Big Ten Conference Tournament, or NCAA Championship. They reached the NCAA championship game as freshmen in 1992 and again as sophomores in 1993. They lost to Duke 71–51 in the 1992 title game[20] and lost 77–71 to North Carolina in 1993,[21] a game which is remembered mostly for Chris Webber's costly "timeout", which resulted in a technical foul as Michigan had no timeouts remaining.

Looked at several brackets. Possible opponents Florida, Butler, Notre Dame, Purdue, West Virginia, Florida State, all as a 13 seed. BIG win for the Vols. Joke is on you.

Are you stupid or do have a mental handicap? They play in the Southern Conference?! In football they would be an FCS school. They are only in by virtue of winning their conference tournament. Good grief man you are seriously the most clueless poster on Volnation lol.

I'm pulling for them, and I don't really mind all the ceremony because this is about as good as it gets for small school athletics. If SeniorDrill is using that to talk trash to Tennessee, though, that just makes me laugh.

Really like this bracket. UVA and Wisconsin arent that special. The one announcer on the selection show said he thinks ETSU will beat UF.
