The answer to that is NO. No hockey. Yay for all the rest.

Come on man, it's the only time of the year when the Universities of Denver and Minnesota athletics are relevant. :zeitung_lesen:

Hey UK fans, you still have those "40-0" shirts? Might need to borrow them in April.

You might find some leftover S16 shirts from the last time you were preseason #1.

Actually I'll just get another Duke National Championship t shirt from the last time you were preseason #1. BTW, do you think it's unfair that K lives rent free in Cal's head year round?

I just think it's sad we didn't get a shot at Duke to be honest cause we choked against Wisconsin. And I've never heard the argument that K is in Cal's head by anyone. If anything, Cal has said a few nice things about some of the things K has done. Oh, and last I checked I thought Duke/K were the ones following in Kentucky's footsteps with the one and done/pro day stuff?

That whole pro day was incorrectly reported by ESPN (shocking). Duke is not doing that. I'm sorry Duke didn't play you in 2015 also, would've been an epic game. Cal always takes little subtle digs at Duke and K, every couple of months he's good for a sound bite.

Arkansas State beat Georgetown tonight
Georgetown fans are in shock, as their team did the unpredictable and devastating Thursday night. The Hoyas lost at home 78-72 to Arkansas State.

The defeat was so bad that prominent Hoya voices are now calling for John Thompson III to be fired. That's not going to happen, at least not any time soon, but you could even hear chants on the broadcast that urged his removal.

With this stunning defeat and Georgetown's pattern for dropping games against mid- and low-major opponents, let's look at some eye-opening stats and facts from the game and nuggets regarding the state of both programs.

1. Arkansas State never trailed.

2. Two percent: Arkansas State's chances of winning at Georgetown, according to KenPom.com's formula. By that measure, and by point spread, this is the biggest upset in college hoops so far this season. It might well remain the biggest upset from now until we get to March.

3. Depending on the source, Arkansas State was a 22- or 23-point underdog.

4. At one point, Georgetown trailed Arkansas State by 23 points.

5. 2,500: Georgetown played at its seldom-used-for-men's-hoops McDonough Gymnasium. It holds 2,500 people and was built in 1951, serving as the Hoyas' home barn for three decades. Now it is one of the smallest college basketball venues in the country.

6. 20,400: The Verizon Center, Georgetown's almost-always venue for home games, holds nearly 20,400 people, making it one of the 10 largest home venues in college hoops. Georgetown was unable to play at the Verizon Center on Thursday because the Washington Wizards were hosting the New York Knicks. The Wizards won 119-112.

7. 1-2: Georgetown's record at McDonough since the 2009-10 season. The Hoyas lost to Old Dominion at McDonough in 2009.

8. From the time it was 20-10 in the first half until it was 74-65 late in the second, Arkansas State held a double-digit lead on Georgetown. That cushion accounted for more than 75 percent of the game.

9. Arkansas State managed to hold a double-digit lead for most of the game despite only accomplishing three steals and two blocks!

10. 10th: Arkansas State's projected finish this season in the 12-team Sun Belt.

11. 274: Arkansas State's KenPom ranking entering Thursday. It bumped to 235 after the win.

12. 30: Georgetown's KenPom ranking entering the game. It fell to 46 later Thursday night, and by Friday morning was 48th.

13. 95,000: A source tells CBS Sports that Georgetown paid Arkansas State $95,000 to play the game, commonly referred to as a "buy" game. For the second straight year, Georgetown suffered an early buy-game loss at home to a team from a one-bid conference. Last season, the Hoyas fell in their opener to Radford.

14. 10: Since going to the Final Four in 2007, Georgetown has 10 losses against traditional mid- or low-major teams: Davidson in 2008; Old Dominion in 2009; Ohio in 2010; VCU in 2011; Florida Gulf Coast and Northeastern in 2013; Radford, Monmouth and UNC-Asheville in 2015; and now Arkansas State.

15. Six: Thursday night's upset marked the sixth time in program history that Arkansas State beat a team from the Big East/Pac-12/Big Ten/Big 12/SEC/ACC on the road. The last time it happened was against Mississippi State in 2014. Previous to that: Ole Miss in 2003 and 1947; Stanford (NIT win) in 1988; Iowa in 1985.

16. 287: The number of days it had been since the last time Arkansas State beat a Division I team, its first win in 11 tries (2.4.16 over South Alabama).

17. The Hoyas trailed 48-29 at the half and were 0-of-6 from 3-point range at that point.

18. 57 and 15: Arkansas State shot 57 percent from the foul line but wasn't in danger of losing the game until the final minute. That was due in good portion to Georgetown shooting 15 percent (3 for 20) from 3-point range. Because Georgetown was so poor from 3, Arkansas State's 3-point defense on the season is ranked No. 3 in the country, with opponents shooting 12.9 percent from deep.

19. 1999: Arkansas State has made the NCAA Tournament once, in 1999.

20. A-State is coached by Grant McCasland, who graduated from Baylor in 1999.

21. Arkansas State is based in Jonesboro, the state's fifth-largest city, with a population hovering just above 71,000 at the last census.

22. The Big East has five losses this season. Georgetown is the only program with two.

23. Arkansas State is undefeated in its history against Georgetown.
