Think of the Georgia situation this way.
All they had to do to win the East was beat Florida with Treon Harris at QB. They lost by 24, which is the most the Gators have won any game with Harris.
Georgia isn't ridiculous. They just have standards and Richt wasn't meeting them. Good move.
"Standards"?, Any standards UGA had were set by Richt. I remember Georgia before Richt got there. They hadn't won the SEC since Herschel Walker in 1982, they hadn't beaten Tennessee since 1988. They weren't much better than South Carolina prior to Spurrier.
It's good for us however. The already weak SEC East is looking like it could implode back to a 2 team race between Tennessee and the Gators for the next several years.
What is everybody's fascination with Chip Kelly?

In four years at Oregon he won 4 division titles, 3 conference championships, 1 NC appearance, and finished 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 11th. His offenses are very innovative and productive for college football. He's also been 10-6 in his 2 full years at Philly.
