| Just Announced.... On College Football Live, Coach Urban Meyer WILL NOT be fined or suspended for his comments regarding the Officials and their lack of a call on Tim Tebow hit....... Slive never ceases to surprise me....

If anything, I think this will serve to expose the double standard in the SEC. |

| Is there any statement as to why Urban's comments didn't warrant suspension and or fines?
It seems to me Slive has allowed this to become an even larger problem with this decision. His first statement was that there was to be NO CRITICISM made in the public eye regarding officiating of games. What this decision tells me is one of two things, A) It is not the criticism itself but the way you present it, or B) That the discipline will be handed out selectively and is more directed at the coaches he believes are "problems".
Either way Slive has an integrity problem at this point, the warning went out and it was ignored the very first week after it was made. The officiating has taken a real hit this year, in most cases the criticism was justified, it happened under his watch and when it continued coaches vented their frustration. This is a situation he is responsible for and when given the first opportunity to act on his mandate he fails to do so.
