If anything, he probably deserves to be commended for helping the refs understand the rules of the game and is providing constructive criticism. However, I don't want to get ahead of myself and congratulate Meyer for his fine work since I'm an objective observer and no one else on this board is. ---signed LG | You forgot to imply that all Tennessee fans are racists because some posters want to punish a black man. |

| Remember, the rule said that Slive had the "discretion" to suspend or fine. Since this is CUM, I'd say he will "discreetly" ignore the comment.

| It's time for SEC fans (not just Vol fans) to step up and hold the SEC accountable. The hypocrisy of Urban Meyer to dole out a tap on the wrist for his superstar and ask for punishment for someone else is absurd. I am asking ALL true SEC fans to call SEC Commissioner Mike Slive and request appropriate action for Meyer's latest rules infraction. He can be reached at:
(205) 458-3000 ext. 3002
Call him. You will more than likely be transferred to a voicemail, but leave a message and SEND A MESSAGE. What is good for the goose is good for the gander! |

| Come on guys... we all know that mentioning an obvious disparity in the number of penalties called is MUCH WORSE than accusing an official of blowing a call he was looking right at... You guys are just being unreasonable.
In all seriousness, this is kind of predictable for the narcissistic Meyer. Since a rule has been made and he knows it doesn't really apply to him, he had to do something to SHOW the common coaches around the SEC the privileges of royalty. |
