Don't be surprised to see Slive go public about CLK's comments with very harsh criticism and a possible fine/suspension. | Not a chance. Those comments by Lane today were completely within bounds.
Lane is getting set up....but they are going to build a better trap than this. If they take him down for something nit picky, it only builds his legend. They are going to make him earn it. |

Not really afraid or anything. Just disgusted at the idea of him winning. | Lane Kiffin has stole your pride, your recruits, and CUMs dignity..
Republicans dont fear Obama in regards to challenging him. They fear the way he is governing the country.
A better example is Obama=Slive... they care less about the foundations of the country or conference and just want to feel powerful.
Obama wins Nobel peace pize for nothing... Slive gets SEC contract credit.... when he did nothing...
Obama is all about publicity... Slive is about ratings..
Lane Kiffin is his challenger, the one who is standing up against the current. Lane Kiffin is our Thomas Jefferson/ Benjamin Franklin/ George Washington. |

| Urban, a couple of things to consider? The following is a cut and paste from Dave Hooker's article on GVX:
Meyer made the comments about a play in which quarterback Tim Tebow was hit by a Georgia player after handing the ball off. Urban, you run the option...your QB will get hit...if not, you might think he keeps the ball the next time(?)......THAT IS FOOTBALL! "That should have been a penalty, in my opinion," Meyer said. "Obviously, it should have been. You've got to protect quarterbacks. That's the whole purpose. It's right in front of the referee. I'm not sure how they're going to handle that, but ... that was one of the plays we did send in (to the SEC to be reviewed)." Urban, Maybe...just Maybe, Spikes poked the official in the eye on the previous series....where he could not have seen it happen... had it actually been a penality.

| i agree completely. if Tebow runs that option I am hitting him for sure every play they are handing off...and calling it a great fake on Tebow's part, "I thought Tim had the ball." |

| If you watch the play there was absolutely no confusion by the defender thinking Tebow had the ball. It was clearly a cheap shot and should have been called. Tebow should be paying better attention though.
With that said, Petrino was right about his complaints and he still got reprimanded so Meyer should get in trouble too. |

| I agree. I saw the video and it was a cheap shot, but those happen in college football and sometimes do not get called. I hope Meyer gets in trouble over this. It was just a few days ago he was sent the letter telling him not to talk about the refs! I wonder what Slive will do...probably nothing. |

When will his suspension take place? |

| I really wonder whats going to happen to Meyer over all of this. I just dont see Slive giving him a fine or a suspension...and imo thats total BS.
On another note, what if some random player had gouged Tebows eyes out at the bottom of a pile, after a play??? That kid would be suspended for the remainder of the season....period!

| Yeah, I don't understand how it wasn't called under the current rules. I do remember a time, not too long ago when that was legal. When I played football that kind of thing happened all the time. Catching someone not looking was like getting candy for Halloween. Until the whistle blew you were fair game. Now if you even look at a quarterback mean you get the flag. |
