Its how you go about getting your opinion across. Plain and simple.

I was speaking to other posters who inferred that Meyer made his comments to show up Kiffin....sorry about that. |

He is trying to protect his best player til the end of the season. Can't fault him for that. IMO. He can't afford for Tebow to go down with an injury, especially with what happened to him earlier in the year.
Meyer has not figured out a good way to keep Tebow from taking shots this year. He is leaning heavy on him this year.

a suspension would be a bonus | I don't think a suspension is warranted based on the comments, but the timing definitely warrants a fine and a letter of reprimand.
Slive has no choice, in spite of all the conspiracy theories flying around. |

| Meyer has really done some damage to his public image not only in terms of class and integrity but intelligence as well -- by how poorly he's handling the whole Spikes thing and the officiating in the game. Duh!
He's hurt Florida's and the SEC's image much more than was necessary as well. Swift issuance of a full game suspension, Spikes appology and keeping his mouth shut about officiating and anything UGA players may have done would have been the smart and proper way to handle it. And the media coverage would have been much more favorable. |

Other than Cooper and Hernandez our receivers have been invisible. |

Spikes going after Ealey's eyes should have no bearing on Meyer being concerned about late hits on Tebow, and making those concerns known to the league office. |
