Is Alabama going down?

With Alabama playing like they have, and having a bye this week.
Texas destroying OU, MIZZOU and OK St. in the last 3 games.

Will Texas move to the number 2 spot?

Some say yes.

I would be surprised if Alabama kept the #2 spot in the polls

If McElroy keeps playing like he's playing, odds are good they drop one down the stretch.

I say YES. V. Tech lost to an unranked team Thursday night (SOS).

What does it matter? IMO, if Texas stays unbeaten, it will be them vs. winner of FLA/Bama game in NC game.

Texas has come alive here in the past few weeks, and them beating a top-25 team last night doesn't hurt them. If Alabama blows LSU out, they'll stay #2, or even move up to #1. If not, they could drop to #3 or lower depending on the outcome.

Since when does squeaking by (16-13) a 3 loss team, missing their starting quarterback = Destruction?

The answer is no. Alabama has much better coaching than any of their remaining opponents.
