| Urban Meyer and Integrity = Oxymoron "Florida is begging for an adult to lead them. Meyer isn’t it when it comes to player conduct. "
This is a direct quote from an article by Dan Wetzel on Meyer's so-called punishment of Spikes for the eye-gouging.
I have no doubt that if Spurrier was still at UF, Spikes would be sitting out at least 2 games. Any player that tries to poke out somebody's eye is a scumbag. I would say the same thing if it was a Vol. |

| I heard that both Meyer and Tbag gave Spikes a good spanking. One so good that sitting for a half will hurt worse than not playing.

| Here's the bottom line. There should be a minimum of a one game suspension.
What is bothering people here is the suspension is a non-punishment and UM really didn't seem to have a problem with it. Perhaps it's an unfortunate choice of words when UM says he doesn't "condone" the action but that sure sounds like he doesn't see much wrong with it. I think most people would like to see a acknowledgement that this type behavior has NO place in football and will not be tolerated.
Both our UF commentators on this issue began by dismissing the action as no big deal. When punishment was handed down, they've gone to hyperbole (e.g. we want him arrested, etc.).
In the end, we'd just like to see some sign that UM cares about anything but winning at all costs. Looks like we'll never see that.

| that was my failed attempt at humor. Meyer proved what we all have known about him.

| Was anyone really expecting anything different from Meyer and Florida?
The thing that kills me is the sanctimonious, self-righteous attitude that Meyer and the Florida AD have . . . remember the outburst of "righteous indignation" when Kiffin suggested that they had done something unseemly during the whole Nuke recruiting thing? To top it all off, all the major sports media outlets pee their pants every time the name "Tim Tebow" is spoken. When he got his concussion, you basically had sportscasters asking for moments of silence to pray for his health. If you hadn't seen the hit, you would have thought that he had possibly broken his neck and was paralyzed.
Bottom-line: Florida are scum-bags . . . even worse, they are scum-bags that act like they are perfect. They can get bent. We are coming for these idiots soon! Go get 'em, Vols! |

| If hating Florida is psychotic, my entire life has been a schizophrenic delusion.

| I posted this somewhere else earlier, but here we go again:
In other news, the Richmond gang-rape suspects have been recruited by Florida.
"We'll see to it they get punished in addition to what the law hands down. I guarantee they'll miss three, maybe four snaps at least."
The sanction is the most shocking since Florida penalized Ted Bundy three quarters for his role as an alleged serial killer.
"We take our ethical responsibilities seriously. Had Ted done that on the field during a game, you can be damn sure he would have had to do Indian Runs all week." |

| Read the News-Sentinel article about it.
1. Myer's wife first told him about it on Sunday night
2. He didn't think enough about it to think it justified discipline
3. One of his assistant coaches told him about it on Monday(probably after ESPN played it)
4. He saw the replay and decided to give him a 1/2 game suspension. By the way against Vandy, ooh that hurts.
In my opinion Urban Myer is the biggest sleaze to ever be in the SEC.
Just wait until his **** sucking whore is not there next year. |
