I like them considering the relative strength of the PAC-10. However, I had to bump them down a few spots.

You shouldn't have too much trouble in the Pac-10 this year. What are the highlights of your non-conference schedule?

Michigan should probably be in there instead of Duke, but I'm not real confident in them being consistent enough

They are in the C v. C with Syracuse, UNC and Ohio St.

Then they roll into Lawrence a few weeks later.

no way Kentucky is better than anyone in your top 8.

My final four are my top 4

After that they should shoot up the rankings during conference play

Yeah, Duke looks like they can range anywhere from fringe top 10 to pretty awful. Judging by their trend over the last few years I am leaning towards the later. I put Michigan in for the opposite reason.

They might not be now, but I feel confident that they will be in the Final Four. I did the same though, my Final Four are my top four.

Edit: We will get to find out if they are better than North Carolina pretty early this year though.

They may very well be, but just too many questions right now to rank them that high. They are talented enough to be a sure fire top 15 though

Interesting opinion. Tennessee has one of those teams that if everything were to go right, they could be a top 5-8 type of team. Everything rarely goes right though.

unfortuently unlike football an easy conference schedule can only help your final ranking so much. i wouldn't be surprised in the slightest to see us ranked in the top-10 only to flame out in the first weekend of the tourney. that is unless our jc center recruit really is the real deal. if so look out.

notable non conferences games (should give us a good idea if cal is for real):

North Carolina, Ohio State (coaches vs cancer)
at kansas
