| Florida/Alabama: Mediocre or sleeping giants? I really cannot make up my mind. I go back and forth between thinking that Florida is a game away from "clicking" on offense to just flat out always having to rely on defense to win games by 5-10 points. You look at the talent and scratch your head at why we cannot score because we do seem to move the ball fine between the 20's. But, in the last two games, we are just 2 of 15 in scoring TDs when in the red zone.
The team seems to completely seize up once getting into scoring position. I really think that its a coaching problem and that we miss Mullen, not to mention of course Harvin.
Same with Alabama -- what is their true identity? Are they average and have been getting lucky to pull these games out?
I watch the games and don't ever feel like that Florida or Alabama is getting seriously outplayed. On the other hand, neither seems able to explode with some offense and put a team away.

| I wish there was a way both teams could lose the SECCG... it seems they're destined to meet there. I will say this is the first time I will root against an SEC team in the NCG if one of the two goes.
Both have good defenses, but the losses of Spikes and Hightower are taking their tolls. Both have gaps on offense. |

| There's more parody than there used to be in college football. They are two of the best teams this year, there just isn't a very wide gap between the "best" and "good" teams.

And yet, you can't help but think that the winner of that game has such an edge over any Big 12 team (or Cinci or whoever) based on strength of SEC defense. Quote:

Its not. With those offenses and defenses, that game could easily be a 3-0 kind of a game.

| Both good but flawed teams. In a year when there are no great teams anywhere, either could easily win the title. |
