Not really a surprise there. Him being hurt this season definitely hurts his draft status. He's going to have to be able to take a hit if he wants to play in the NFL.

this seems like a bad move IMO. i obviously don't know the guy and don't know how he came to this decision, but it just doesn't make much sense to me when he could come back next year and try to boost his draft status. it will be interesting to see how this plays out for him
