There are many reasons for people to fain offense to this:
* Why isn’t it rule #1
* UGA is a state school. Separation of church and state
* What about non-Christians/Jews?
* God doesn’t care about football

Not trying to be contrary VD, but Jews worship God as well but I understand your point.
