I dunno. Kiper was interesting a few years ago. Now he's just kind of full of himself. He IS right a lot of the time, admittedly.

it sounded to me like Kiper was trying his best not to offend mr. tebow. but at least he did finally get down to brass tacs about what he would be best at in the league.

he won't translate well to the NFL, not as a qb anyway.

tebow basically asked Kiper what do you think i need to do to make it in the NFL as a quarterback........and after what sounded to me like a little bit of dodging the question (he harkend back to when people thought Leaf was better than Manning etc....) he finally broke it down and said he'd be a better version of Frank Wycheck or Chris Cooley. which at the end of hte day was honest, but it did feel a little uncomfortable there for a second.........

and of course Tebow retorted with some line about how he needed to have the ball in his hands every play.......

much about nothing really, just the fact they were talking to each other and kIper was fielding quetions from the prospect was intriguing........

Exactly. Everyone keeps says no QB in NFL, which I agree, but what suddently makes me a NFL calibur TE. To my recall he has never caught a pass or had to block anyone. Not saying it couldnt be done, but why would a team want to draft someone that is untested.

My guess it that Tebow will be an NFL QB. I just don't think it's smart to bet against that young man.

Looking around the NFL at some of the starting QBs, Tebow has to get a shot.

kiper's point was "do what you do best" and that's carrying the ball......and given his physical nature, those are type of guys he compared him to.

i don't think he was saying he's currenlty as good a pass receiver as either of those guys, rather he fits the physical mode those type of gusy fill for their respective teams.
