Gators' Wilson off the team

I did not realize he had been allowed to play this year -- thought he was going to be a practice squad only kind of guy. Not happy about that.

But I guess glad he's otherwise gone at this point. Good riddance.

Does it surprise you? You can take the kid out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the kid.

I know some kids can change, but firing an AK-47 in the air...

The fact that there is still a chance for him to return to the team...again...is pretty sad. Urban should have gotten rid of him the first time.

I completely agree. His actions during that parking lot incident are too dangerous to ignore. Had he gone off and done some sort of charity work for a solid year or so and gotten some counseling and come back with an impecable character record, then maybe at that point you give him another chance. But it had to be earned, not given to squander.
